Game of Thrones Tour

The Game of Thrones tour takes you to visit places in the Basque Country used during the filming. We’ll visit impressive, remarkable beaches and more. Then we’ll explore the extraordinary landscapes where Jon Snow, Tyrion Lannister, and Daenerys Targaryen were filmed. You’ll visit some of the places where they filmed season 7.

For this tour I’ll take you to visit actual places in the Basque Country that were used during the filming of The Game of Thrones series.
Visit the set locations: remarkable beaches and extraordinary landscapes. See where Jon Snow, Tyrion Lannister, and Daenerys Targaryen were filmed during the making of season 7.
Departing from San Sebastian, we’ll first drive along the coastal road from Zarautz to Zumaia.
In Zumaia you can explore “Dragonstone beach”. This is where Daenerys Targaryen lands with her army when she returns to Westeros.
After a spectacular drive through the Basque Country, we’ll stop to visit Dragonstone Castle (Gaztelugatxe). Its a long hike (45 min each way) to get to the Island – so you’ll have to plan for this. Otherwise we’ll get some photos form the scenic overlook.
The final stop for this tour is in Barrika. Here you will visit 2 spectacular beaches. This is where they filmed the scenes from Kings Landing.
